We’re so excited that you’ll be joining us this fall! Be sure to check this page regularly, as it’s updated often with important dates, documents, and other helpful information. Below, you’ll find the Deposited Student Checklist, which outlines your next steps to becoming an Official Blazer. You’ll also find contact information for important campus offices and student support services. The dropdown menu to the left includes links to key webpages where you can complete the tasks on your checklist as well as our academic calendar, so you can stay on top of all the important dates throughout the semester! These tasks can also be completed through your Hood portal!

Log in to your student portal and set up your ŷ�� email
- Check your personal email for login information and a link to the portal.
Submit your signed enrollment agreement
- Access the form on your student portal and submit to admission@hood.edu by August 1.
Submit your required medical forms
Sign up for campus alerts
- Visit hood.edu/hoodalert for access to timely safety alerts and closures
Complete placement exams
- Log in to Blackboard at hood.blackboard.com
Sign and submit your official financial award letter
- Log in with your student ID at hood.edu/netpartner
Complete your housing and food services contract.
- Sign in using your ŷ�� email account to selfservice.hood.edu.
Sign up to attend Hood Ready
- Visit hood.edu/hoodready and attend this one day on-campus summer event.
Submit your official transcripts
- Email your transcripts to registrar@hood.edu
Submit your official ACT/SAT scores
- Email your scores to admission@hood.edu

- Schedule a time to get on campus—whether it's your first time or fifth time!

Placement tests | Open through June 1
Advising Sessions | June 17, June 24, July 1, and July 8 | July 31 (transfer students)
- After placement exams, check your Hood email for details from your academic advisor
Medical Forms | Due by June 30
Hood Ready | July 10, 17, and 24
Move in and Fall Orientation | August 14
Start of Classes | August 18
